Her career has evolved from engineering and business leadership roles at startups with successful exits—including two IPOs and a private equity transaction—to serving as a startup board advisor and investor. She has built the 10X Growth Strategies ecosystem, bringing together more than 150 venture investors and 7,000+ VPs, CXOs, and founders. Her strategies and execution span hardware, software, and SaaS business models and have driven 5–10x business growth. Her marketing expertise spans product and solutions marketing, business strategy, go-to-market strategy, market analysis, messaging, competitive positioning, demand generation, partner marketing, corporate marketing, field marketing, digital marketing, account-based marketing, and ROI/TCO analysis. She is deeply engaged with customers and partners and has delivered numerous executive briefings, product demonstrations, sales and partner trainings, keynotes, and webinars. As a startup advisor and board director, Padmanabhan has advised more than 30 startups through organizations including Alchemist, Venture Docks, and a16z Speedrun. Her advisory work spans market trends, product-market fit, technology strategy, customer development, vertical strategy, business planning, operations, hiring, go-to-market, partnerships, and fundraising. She has served as a Board Director for Anthriq and as a board advisor to Sendoso. She has also served on nonprofit boards focused on economic empowerment, women, children, and education. Padmanabhan is also the host of the 10X Growth Strategies podcast and community, which has grown into a hub for conversations around leadership and business growth. She has served as a keynote speaker and panelist at industry, startup, and investor events including TiEcon, FalconX Startup Accelerator, Grace Hopper, Marketing 2.0, Citrix Synergy, HIMSS, Shooting Stars, and BrightTALK. Today at Stripe, he leads Money Management across treasury and banking, issuing, capital, payouts, FX, crypto/stablecoins, and other financial infrastructure. His teams are also building for the emerging agentic economy, including Agentic Treasury and Agentic Cards. He also serves as President & CEO of Stripe Payments Company, Stripe’s U.S. regulated entity supporting core financial products under U.S. money-transmission laws. As Chair of the Board, he is responsible for the entity’s governance and regulatory oversight. Previously at Amazon, he helped build Amazon Go and Just Walk Out, and later built Amazon Launchpad from zero to a $3B-revenue, $300M-operating-profit business across more than 10 countries. He also owned the P&L for Amazon’s approximately $1B Home business and worked on Prime, Prime Video, Kindle, and new delivery experiences. At Meta, he led product for Messenger, Instagram Messaging, and Messenger Kids, serving more than 2 billion people globally. At Dropbox, he led the AI business as a member of the executive team, with P&L responsibility across Product, Engineering, Design, AI Research, and GTM. He founded and scaled Dropbox Dash, led a 200-person global organization, and launched the $50M Dropbox AI Fund. Across these roles, he has taken products from idea to launch, built and operated large businesses and P&Ls, led global multidisciplinary teams, and worked closely with boards, customers, partners, investors, and regulators. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Culture Amp and invests in and advises early-stage technology companies. He is especially drawn to moments when technology changes what’s possible—creating opportunities to build new products, platforms, and businesses at meaningful scale.
