Swati Saxena
Dr. Swati Saxena is a senior technologist and thought leader in the Aviation Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center with more than 15 years of experience in Aerospace Industry. She is passionate about the use of AI in Aerospace and teaching. She has held adjunct faculty positions at University of California, Berkeley and Santa Clara University. Her research interests include AI/ML applications in aeronautics and aviation operations, high-fidelity modeling and simulation, aerodynamics and computational aeroacoustics.
Before joining NASA, Swati has worked at Ansys Inc. as the Technical Director for Aerospace & Defense and at GE Aerospace as Lead Research Scientist. A frequent speaker at conferences and technical events, she is a lifetime senior member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), holds two patents and is a published author with more than 35 technical publications. She holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in India. She is excited to join the ASEI Silicon Valley Board and contribute to the ASEI mission.
